<li><p>Make sure you aren't randomly applying to schools just because they're free. If you apply to a bunch of schools that you don't really want to attend, you're wasting the school's time, and additionally hurting the applicants who do love the school. </p></li>

<p>If you want to research around and pick a couple that you genuinely like, that's cool. Just make sure you aren't being too flippant about it.</p>
<p>That said, if you want a few ideas to look at, try: American, Austin College, Case Western, Colby, Eugene Lang (New School), Furman, Hofstra, Marlboro, Reed, Rhodes, Saint Anselm, TCU, Tulane, Willamette, etc.</p>
