Does anyone know any colleges that have good environmental science program and also a good art department? I'm interested in both of those areas of study, and for art, I like painting. Location doesn't really matter. I'd appreciate it thanks

I don’t know how common the intersection of those two programs is. Rhodes has both. Environmental science here is a new program, but it’s put together by a couple of long-standing faculty members who hail from strong departments.

Oberlin is also quite strong in both areas. They also have an excellent art museum.

Middlebury has an extremely strong environmental science program. I heard a student say that she wants to combine environmental science and art and that it is somewhat common, so there must be some precedent for it.

Skidmore is the LAC that immediately comes to mind. Brown or Yale among universities.

Could you be more specific? Suggestions could range from tiny Colgate and Williams to the larger Michigan and UNC, with dozens of schools like Cornell and Duke in between.
