What are some essay topics that I can write about for UC Personal Statement Essay?

I already wrote the rough draft for both essay prompts. I want to start over the first essay because it wasn't really about me, it was mostly about her my family shaped my dreams and aspirations. I heard some people wrote about the death of a relative or family member, something that is really personal. I don't have any ideas of what to write that is personal that I wouldn't share it with anyone.
Here's the prompt:
Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

Give me your ideas!
Thanks...

I was thinking of writing mine about how my parents have served as role models in what mistakes I should avoid and how my grandfather stressed the importance of education for me. It's only a rough idea because I haven't started writing yet. Which UC's are you going for?

I'm planning to apply UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, and maybe USC.

I just started brainstorming opening anecdotes: my attachment to a very beat-up minivan my family owned in my childhood, and what memories I have of being driven around by my parents; the layout of my elementary school library, which I still remember, although I haven’t visited it since…you can easily take a small story and expand it to show things about your childhood, what values your parents raised you by, things like that.
