What are some Extra Curriculars related to an prospective economics major?

I am a rising junior and i am trying to find some extra curriculars that relate to economics (prospective major). Currently, after some struggle, i am doing an internship with Grameen Bank (Bangladesh) dealing with microcredit loans and such. My dilemma is that next summer/year i wont have any activities related to econ.

Do any of you have any ideas on what i could do?

Solve the world economic problem.

Try to start a mini-business?

Just do ECs you love. It’s much better to be passionate about stuff not necessarily related to your major then to make sure your schedule is packed to fit into it. Do things you love because you love them, not because they’re gonna get you into college.

how about a job ?

You could volunteer at the local Chamber of Commerce…that’s what a lot of kids do here.

Open a business?
