What are some fun things to do on weekends? Is there anything fun to do without Greek Life?

I am applying this year and I was wondering, if I got in, what people usually might do on weekends. What kind of social events exist without Greek life on campus?

I assume that you are aware that Boston College is about 5 miles from Harvard Square, and 6 miles from downtown Boston?

There are TONS of things to do in the area. You will not run out in 4 years.

This does lead to the obvious question of what do you like to do? Whatever it is, if it is legal, it is probably available in the area (some things like downhill skiing would require a bit of a drive – Wachusett Mountain is about an hour west).

You are asking the wrong question.

When colleges like BC review your application, they’ll be looking to see what kind of asset you will be to help build a strong incoming freshman class.

So the real question is what is it about that adds value to the rest of your classmates to help make BC a better place?

Remember, there’s a reason graduating seniors at BC every year cherish their time there as the best four years of their lives. BC is an awesome school. What will you be bringing to it?

Yes. Awesome Sports. Comedy. Parties. Boston. Fitness classes. Clubs. Dance teams. Speakers. Netflix.

@DadTwoGirls yes wachusett is much better, but there is skiing nearby at Blue Hills.
