What are some of good Biomedical or Mech. Engineering Schools?

Biomed schools =
John's Hopkins
Duke
MIT
Case Western Reserve

Walden's input, plus Harvey Mudd, Caltech, any other place ending in "Institute of Technology."

For BME, the top schools (based on USNWR and from talking to faculty when visiting colleges) are JHU, Duke, CWRU and UCSD. Two other schools have "up and coming" programs that many of the professors thought would soon rival those at the above colleges: MIT, which will start their undergrad Biological Engineering program this year, and UT-Austin, which will graduate their first undergrad BME class next year.

It is interesting to note that

MIT does not provide BME as a major but provides as a minor.

They have Biological Engineering (BE) as a major.

They claim that their BME minor course is as rigorous as other school's BME major.
