I haven’t looked much into Elon thought so I’ll definately have to. I appreciate your suggestions!

I think I have a better idea of where you need to be looking. I know you are aware that colleges like Liberty have lower admissions criteria than your stats- no problem with that if it is OK with you. Then, you need to consider travel costs as well. You could possibly find some good options near you. Sewanee and Centre seem to be in your region of interest.
Have you looked at the “Colleges that Change Lives” list? Some could be in your region.

When considering a college, pay attention to the overall culture, the student groups you could fit in to, and where your views and religion are supported. College is a place where students are exposed to new ideas, but you also want to feel that your niche is represented as well.

What about Georgetown University?

Thanks Pennylane. Luna, I haven’t looked into Georgetown much. How much would a non-Catholic fit in there?

I think Georgetown and Notre Dame are two Catholic colleges that are very accepting of non Catholics, but when looking at a college, fit is beyond acceptance. It’s also feeling like the culture of the school fits. If Liberty is a fit, then Georgetown, in Washington DC, would have an entirely different vibe.
If you like Liberty, and want to also consider secular universities, then the ones that also have other students that share your background are likely to feel like a fit. For some of the colleges where your credentials are at the high end of admission criteria, you may be eligible for merit aid, and they could be a very good fit for you personally. Another one to consider is Columbia College, Missouri.

I’ve looked into Columbia College and nothing really interested me. What about Wheaton? I’ve heard it had best academics out of the Christian colleges. Do you know about it’s pre-law program, if it has one?

I’m not familiar with Wheaton. I am personally not familiar with many of the Christian colleges, but there is a section here on CC where you could ask specifically about them.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/christian-colleges/

It’s really a decision of priorities, and there isn’t one right way to do this. For some families, religion is first, and the Christian college takes precedence. Others choose by academic program, yet two colleges can be equally strong academically, but with different cultures. If you are looking for both academics and a faith based community, both of these are considerations when looking at colleges.

Another possibility is Butler University.

Ok thanks so much for your help!
