What are some good Mat.Science schools?

While going to college I would like to experiment a bit in Materials Science Engineering see how much I like it, what would be some good (I'm looking for around the line between tier 2 and tier 1) schools for Materials Science anywhere other than the west coast?

Northwestern University!

Look at these schools....and good luck.

As far as I can tell, Rose-Hulman doesn't offer a Materials Science major.

Penn State is one of the best in the country for material science:
