What are some good Nursing Programs?

My brother wants to go into Nursing Program (BSN or BS).
My major is not a nursing, so I have no idea which school has good programs.

I have heard that BUFFALO, NYU, UPENN, etc.

1) Please list any of schools recommend in NY, NJ, PA, or anywhere.

2) How do we determine which university has good program?

3) Is there a website that we can find the percentage of passing NCLEX-RN?

Thank you so much and I hope that you guys can help.

We to are also searching for nursing in the same area. We're looking into Georgetown and Villanova and maybe Boston College. We visitied UPenn and my D loved it but as I imagine you know it is so difficult to get into. Any advise would also be appreciated.

I don't know about NY or PA, but Ohio State University has a great Nursing Program.

He's probably not interested in the South...but Samford, Auburn, and UAB have great programs.

I think the University of Pittsburgh has a good nursing program

Some other good ones are Michigan, Suny Binghamton, University of Rochester, Case Western and UVA.

The Lienhard School of Nursing at Pace University (white Plains, NY) is nationally recognized (and head, shoulders, and torso above most other offerings at Pace). They have some really good clinical placements, for example, and you can go on to earn graduate degrees through the doctoral level in a number of nursing areas. The Dean of the College is so dynamic and established, she has also been serving as the acting dean of the School of Education.

Thank you so much. Could you guys recommend colleges that do not have expensive tuition.

The Suny schools are very good schools at a good price compared to many other schools. Also, Rochester, Case Western and OSU are pretty good with merit aid. Two others schools to look into for nursing are Duquense and TCNJ.
