What are some good safety schools for me?

GPA: 4.54 Weighted, 4.0 UW

AP Classes: Bio (5), USH (5), US Gov (5), Calc AB (5), English Lang (4)

Extracurricular: Varsity golf (6 yrs), Yearbook Staff, Multicultural Club, Student Council, Math Team (4 yrs)
Worked on a clinical research study funded by the American Heart Association, name is on the project and will get published this year.
Tutored some kids in Bio and Math this summer

Class rank: School doesn't rank, but 1-2/80
Recommendations will most likely be very good.

Ethnicity: Asian

Every school?

^ditto. Apply anywhere you want. You have a shot anywhere.

He’s asking for safety schools.

Mainly because of lowish ACT:
U of I
UMW
Purdue
RPI
RIT

Bummmmmppppp

The most important factor in a safety school is financial safety. How much can your parents pay a year?

Also, any other preferences? Size, location, etc?

lol your “low” act. you know thats in the 99th percentile right? geeze.

not thinking 33 is a “low-ish” ACT score…

He is asking for “safety” schools meaning guaranteed to get in. Relative to his other stats his ACT is “low-ish”. One or two points more and some additional schools would become “safeties” - U. Mich, USC, maybe CMU.

USC and UMich are probably already safeties.

^^ since you qualify with “probably” they aren’t “safeties” and you and I agree.
