What are some good stats/ECs required for Cornell's SHA?

I was just wondering what would be the benchmark stats/ECs for Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration. I see a lot of stats to compare for other schools but not so much for SHA. I know work experience matters a lot for Hotel School but what would make someone a “good” candidate?

It is my dream school and I want to work on my profile as soon as possible so that I could apply ED for it!

If you see on their website, they are score free.

They will look at your grades, rigor, ECs, and essays. Make sure you show impact in the community or within your ECs such as continuity (tenure, leadership, accomplishment).

Cornell is extremely aggressive ED vs. RD - but that might be impacted by athletes. Do not apply ED unless you 100% can afford it - look at their NPC.

Hotel is the easiest school to get into but you still need to be in the top 10% of your class, etc.

You didn’t provide any #s but whatever you do, don’t fall in love with any school because - well it’s not worth it - especially if you want to work in hospitality.

Lots of great schools out there from UNLV to Charleston to SC to Denver, to Va Tech to Denver and so many more.

Like everyone, have a balanced list.

Good luck.
