I will have graduated from high school next year, and I want to pursue a summer immersion trip/program abroad in any francophone country. I want to combine some community service with language learning. I will have reached ACTFL level IV by that time and also 16. Any advice?

Bump. Seriously? No one has a clue?

www.tracey-frenchcourses.com. Richard and Caroline live in France and offer a very detailed and dedicated immersion experience. They accept no more than 6 students.
If by francophone countries ,you are prepared to be adventurous and travel as far afield as the west coast of Africa, you will definitely have some community experience there!

CIEE has lots of study abroad programs. They are not cheap, BUT they cover everything - air fare, multiple orientations, hotel room in departure and arrival cities, etc. My daughter just spent a semester in Spain, and I highly recommend CIEE. They have been responsive and supportive the entire time

@MaineLonghorn Nice! Did she stay in a dorm or with a homestay?

@Calmwhisper Do you have any suggestions for immersion program in francophone countries (africa, caribbean, etc)?

If you will be at least 18:
