What are some LACs that aren't excessively liberal?

I'm looking for an LAC that isn't too liberal (like most are) and isn't too conservative. I really want a place with a student population that has diverse ways of thinking.

The only one I can think of right now is Claremont McKenna. Do you guys know any more LACs that have "split" political/ideological leanings?

Middlebury, Bowdoin, Colgate, Colby, Hamilton, Bucknell( maybe too conservative).

I think overall you'll be surprised (disappointed?) at the lack of any political activism one or the other on most LAC campuses.

That said, most have both Republican and Democrat student clubs.

to add to slippers list: holy cross, lafayette, union, trinity (ct)

William and Mary/Davidson/Wake Forest

Remember, the right wing is so extreme that todays moderates would be considered extreme liberals of 1980.

Agree, Holy Cross, Davidson, Bowdoin, Colgate, and Williams.

Washington and Lee, University of Richmond, Centre College, Sewanee....

lol... Conservative Arts Colleges instead of Liberal Arts Colleges?

Where you can major in taxidermy and jerkey-making I imagine.

The University of Puget Sound, Claremont McKenna, Occidental
