What are some of the most prestigious summer programs (Yale,RSI, SSP,etc)?

Hello, I am inquiring about how good some summer programs are.

If you get accepted to RSI, do you have one foot in the door for T20s / MIT?

How good is Yale Young Global Scholars? It has a pretty high acceptance rate and accepts a lot of people. Does that help?

How good is SSP (sponsored by MIT and Caltech)? It has an okay acceptance rate of around 10% I have applied but don’t know the results yet. On their website it says more than 70% of alum end up at Ivy Leagues, MIT, and Caltech. Does that program help them get into university or were they qualified enough to go to an Ivy the first place?

Would you choose SSP over Garcia Scholars?

Also, how good is LaunchX? Is that program prestigious and does it look good on your resume?

Thank you all.

RSI practically guarantees admission, because it’s super hard to get into. To even get into RSI, you have to have a researching background/national science awards.

SSP is better than YGS, but not as good as RSI…

Yale Global Scholars is okay. It’s not prestigous. It just tells officers you care.

I haven’t heard much abt LaunchX, but it seems like it’s a resume padding program.

How does SSP compare to Clark Scholars?

bump

LaunchX (MIT Launch) is pretty hard to get in. The kids usually do pretty college-wise afterward.
