Im a junior currently, and take a few aps and receive straight A's. Im sitting on a 1940 right now (670,610,660...M,R,W respectively) but i feel like i did around 100 points better on the november one, due to being more prepared and having a bad test day in october. Sooo lets say i get a 2050. Im looking into engineering, specifically chemical engineering, and Ive been looking at Penn State, Maryland, and Uconn. (Binghamton if i want to do business) Are these schools i should aim for? Or should i aim higher or lower? I just want to discuss some options for myself and see whats going on. Thanks in advanced :)

bumpdy dumpdy

Well, depending on your ECs and APs (define “a few” haha), you could potentially add on a higher “reach” school. One of my friends with similar grades (all As, with 2 Bs in AP classes) and a 2070 SAT got into UCB and UCLA…but he was a beast at essays, and had nice ECs. Of the colleges you listed, I only really know about Penn State, but I think it’s a good choice for your current stats.

thanks man… i cant wait to get back my scores i think i got a 2100+ actually… lets just hope for the best!

i ended up getting a 2150 M:790 R:650 W:710 yay. And a few aps as in SUPA (Syracuse University Project Advance) US history, technically not an ap but college… same as College accounting, and AP chem… next year possibly another AP science, AP calc, possibly history… yanooo
