What are some smaller schools with school spirit?

<p>What are some good schools with 2,000-9,000 students that have a lot of school spirit? Particularly because of sports teams that are part of the whole social scene at the school. It would be cool if they were reasonable schools for someone with a 3.8 gpa and an 1880 sat to be accepted to.</p>

<p>Check out the College of the Holy Cross. It has about 25 D1 sports programs for approximately 2800 students. It should be a high match (/ low reach) for those stats.</p>

<p>check out butler university, they know basketball and it is a great school!</p>

<p>Lafayette-Lehigh is the oldest football rivalry in the country – still brings out lots of school spirit!</p>

<p>Villanova, bucknell, and James Madison are smaller schools with big pride.</p>

<p>Holy Cross has perhaps the best sports tradition-1 NCAA basketball championship(1947), 1 NIT championship, 1 NCAA baseball championship, and 1 Orange Bowl appearnce. HC football has a 25,000 seat stadium, baseball has beautiful stadium. The Holy Cross school spirit translates into one of the highest alumni giving rates.</p>
