Most state flagships probably fit your description, aside from the top flagships (Berkeley, Michigan, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia). Pick a state.

University of Chicago, of course. No one does any work; it’s just fun fun fun, 24/7. Some even call it, “the place where hard work goes to die”

This is NOT the site to ask this question. This literally has the pinnacle of hard-working anxious people who worry 24/7 about the Ivies. They would rather smack you in the face than ask this question. Although it is completely agreeable that you said prestige and easy at the same time…

I disagree. This question is hilarious.

yeaaaaaaaah brah

WHOS UP FOR BEER PONG???

Seriously, though, OP, perhaps part of the reason people seem so contemptuous is because you are essentially trying to get something for nothing.

Cal Tech is just as easy as Chicago - but warmer weather. Maybe OP should consider going there.

dude i hear theyve got the best parties at cal teck

THE BEST BRAH

who wouldn’t want to get something for nothing? that desire is hardwired into our DNA.

Is your goal to get a prestigious, high-paying job that doesn’t require you to work when you graduate?

^ Touche. Maybe I should say “expecting to get something for nothing.” We don’t live in a perfectly fair or meritocratic society, but in general, the more work you put in, the more you get out. And the more you want out of your life, the more work you have to put in.

We do live in a society that would love to be perfectly meritocratic, so many people find someone who wants something very big (a degree from a big-name school) without putting in any work at all to be contemptible.

…Cornell. Especially engineering. I hear the gorges are very beautiful this time of year.

That is a legit question, at least he had the balls or was dumb enough to ask.

I can only speak for my school, Berkeley. Ummm… don’t come here hahaha. I hear Ivys are generous with GPAs. But, I wouldn’t know…

What about Tufts? I hear that is a real fun spot! :)

anyone???

pre-med anyone is generally pretty easy. I hear Johns Hopkins is especially so.

yeah, im thinking neuroscience at john hopkins would be a good fit for me

what do you plan to major in?
if engineering, then cal tech, cornell, mit, and berkeley are pretty easy

if pre-med, check out duke, ucla, usc, johns hopkins… i heard the pre med kids there are having a ball and all getting As

I heard they barely touch the books at Harvey Mudd.

yeah. i hear cal tech’s a breeze.
anyone for real?

^I’m sorry the people on here are being so rude to you. You asked a question and you deserve an answer. I may not be as wise and omniscient as these paragons of good samaritans, but from what I know, there really aren’t schools like the ones you’re looking for. Even schools ruled by frat life and drinking like Duke and Dartmouth require their students to work hard and they’re smart enough to do both. If you don’t want to work hard you’ll have to settle for state schools that are outside the Top. Depending on what you major in, like a science major, you may even have to work hard wherever you go.
