What are some biases or stereotypes that people have on stanford students?

That they're laid back, rich, etc.

Asian and/or ugly.

ouch! uncalled for

well, there's the paddling duck metaphor

letitbestan08: er, actually, it is called for -- that's what the topic is about. =p

I wasn't trying to be offensive, but when someone asks for stereotypes, you're typically not going to hear compliments.

kyledavid's is more accurate

Wealthy, comes to mind.

I'd be disappointed if Stanford has ugly Asians....I have a thing for cute & smart Chinese girls.

There are definitely cute Asians here! I think there are many attractive people at Stanford. People generally care about their appearance, are well-groomed, and present themselves well. I did say generally ;)

^^ not sure whether that's a good thing.

^^ by generally it depends where are you located.. if you're in the engineering complex especially near gates and EE building at midnight before projects are due or final exams then... LOL

I intended this thread to be posting ideas about some funny images of typical Stanford students. Thanks everyone for comments. Any more?

From what I've seen there is no typical student.

^^ that's why they're stereotypes.

BUMP Self Promotion
