What are some top schools where Legacy and Athletics don't give an edge in admissions

I was wondering if there are some top schools that are either known for not giving preference to legacies and athletes, or have made it policy that they don’t give preference to legacies and athletes.

*When I say athletes, I mean people who are being recruited for sports.

Some schools that come to my mind that might not give preference are:
*MIT
*CalTech
*I think I heard someone mention UChicago

MIT, Caltech, UCs do not consider legacy. Chicago does, albeit not with the weight if some other schools.

Caltech gives no boost to recruited athletes. MIT depends on the sport, but it is generally little to none.

Thanks

Colleges without varsity sports, such as Reed, do not recruit athletes.

I’d worry more about being the right match to what your targets want, what they expect. If there are fewer seats, you want to be one of the solid contenders. Know what that means.
