of the schools and comments by the students. I have visited some sites, but I can't remember their urls.

c o l l e g e p r o w l e r books are also somewhat informative. That first website is probably the most descriptive and candid, though take reviews with a grain of salt. Obviously those that take the time to fill out a review are a self-selective bunch and if they give a negative review, they probably had the intention of going on there and bashing the school.

I would also check out princetonreview.com, which mitigates some of the self-selection problem of the websites brand_182 listed by distributing surveys to a wider swath of the college population. The disadvantage is that you can't read every single review.

theu.com

vault.com

Epinions have some good, insightful ones. However, they mostly date from some years back.

theu.com's videos are awesome

any others: I personally hate student reviews cuz most of the claims are always negative and are not backed up at all. I hear some of the most random and unsopported claims. I think its just a place for unsatisfied students to unleash their stress and frustration. Plus they are somewhat outdated. Eopinions is just way tooo outdated.
So far: campusdirt and TheU i like.
any others?

theu.com changed. Anyone know how to access the old videos? I spent a while trying to figure it out but I couldn't.

It really depends. For Wesleyan and Brown, it's hard to find a negative review at all! It's just a ton of praise, which is really cool to see. Also, at some schools (for instance, USC Marshall School of Business), there are a lot of complaints about the same thing: the Marshall curve. Whether you want to believe it or not, this can be cause for investigation.
