What are some weird things YOU do?

You know, a lot of these are actually very normal habits. Even the post above mine.

I always park FARRR away from other cars.
Sometimes if Im at a store, I take about 6 shopping carts and put them around my car
( one front, 2 for each side, 1 rear). This way nobody parks next to me or dings my doors.

^I’m guessing you own a 335?

I CANNOT use unclean utensils and dishes. They must be sparkling.

Plattsburgh, I’m glad I’m not alone on disliking all friends to some extent. Makes me sound like a totally negative person, but I’m really not. Everyone I know just has a few things about them that really just irk me.

As mentioned above, I also have to match my bras and panties…not doing so seems just plain odd.

I organize my clothes by color in my closet, and then alphabetize the colors. (Black, Blue, green, orange, red, white, yellow, etc.)

I blast my music as loud as my stereo can go when I get ready to go somewhere (and I’m home alone) and dance around my room the whole time. My neighbors have called me like 5+ times and asked me to turn it down. Normally I’m not an extremely animated person so it’s pretty out of character.

I have this weird obsession with smell that goes way past being disgusted by bad hygiene. I smell EVERYTHING…clothes when they come out of the dryer, cups when I take them from cupboards, and usually make a conscious effort to sniff my friends at LEAST once when I’m hanging out with them.

I also predominantly drive with only one hand (I never use both…ever), and occasionally knee-drive if my hands are exceptionally busy.

This!
I’ll write something later, can’t really think clearly at 1:30 am

“and occasionally knee-drive if my hands are exceptionally busy.”

I don’t want to be riding my bike with you around. xD

I DO NOT write, mark, underline or whatever in my books! I care so much about them, and I usually buy a lot of books well beyond obligatory readings (upon graduation from B.S. I had $ 11,300-worth (at historic prices) library.

When I went to the cafeteria (and when I go to McDonalds for the sake) and most tables were empty, I usually had 4 to 5 very stressful second deciding where to sit, based on what I’d like to look outside (walls, parking lot, gas pipe, thermal central, woods, small lake were the options; no nice girls’ alley to look). I did not repeat areas of the cafeteria when eating alone. Same applies when I’m driving through a partial empty parking lot where there’s no obvious advantage on choosing a particular spot.

When taking a shower, I tend to distract myself observing water and foam flowing patterns, and trying to rationalize them and, if needed, to correct their wrong ways with my feet.

I find those emergency lanes that make a noise very tempting not to try to put right wheels exactly over them.

Though I’m not a cleanliness freak, I don’t bear at all drinking water in glasses I usually use for other beverages. I just smell everything on the water even if there’s no actual odor present.

These.

I can’t stand slow walkers, especially when there’s a group of them who take up the entire width of the sidewalk–for this reason, I tend to walk outside alone @ around 4:30 am, so no one else will be there.
I also hate when anyone “messes up the shuffle” on my ipod. I like each song to have the same opportunity to get played during any particular listening session, so it irks me to no end when someone will reshuffle the songs halfway through a set.

When I’m at work, I hate when people ask me for sizes. NO we DONT have size M whatevers there is all we have left. yea, I lie :)

oh and kevster yea I have a 2009 335i. Love it to death.
heres a pic

When I was really little, my mother dragged me on to the Alien Encounter ride at Disney World. It scared the living **** out of me.
Now, last spring, my friends and I went back to Disney - my friend’s little brother wanted to ride the Stich Escape ride (formerly Alien Encounter) and I completely freaked out and all I was reminded of was Alien Encounter while the seven year-old next to me was having a blast.

That was a weird moment for me. Disney ****ing scarred me.

BMWdude:

$40,300 worth of goodness (MSRP, that is haha), 0-60 in 4.8 seconds

I’m digging that Alpine White exterior. Nice car!

I have to open up my mouth real wide when putting in my contacts

I write anything and everything the teacher writes in all of my college classes, but I am not thinking about them when I write them down and I never go back to look over them.

I don’t clip my nails, I just peel them off.

“oh and kevster yea I have a 2009 335i. Love it to death.”

Ohmygawd. That would pay for four years of my tuition and housing. :O

^^ That would pay for all four years? How much is your tuition?

“I can’t stand slow walkers, especially when there’s a group of them who take up the entire width of the sidewalk”

Be glad you’re not in NY!(maybe you are?) It’s horrible.

"3. I don’t clip my nails, I just peel them off. "

That sounds SO painful…

It really isn’t, you just have to find a small tear so you can rip them off

^^ I also peel off my fingernails, not on purpose though, it’s just a bad habit.

I like to cook for people and clean everything. I’m a neat freacking borderline ocd.

“^^ That would pay for all four years? How much is your tuition?”

I got enough fin aid so that I pay 1k every semester out of pocket for tuition.

Technically tuition is like 8k - 10k a year depending on the program. Plus housing.
