I understand they differ slightly from school to school, but for the most part, what courses are prerequisites for a masters in computer engineering?

Most masters programs only require that you have a bachelor’s degree, most preferably in that field of study. Other requirements include GRE and LORs. There really are no prerequisite courses unless you’re talking about professional school.

Calculus II
Linear Algebra
Discrete Mathematics

Computer Languages
Data Structures
Computer Architecture and/or Operating Systems

and good to have:

Theory/Algorithms

“Most masters programs only require that you have a bachelor’s degree”

Which is the problem, because my current plan of action may land with me with a computer science bachelors degree.

Thank you for the reply brownparent.

I apologize if I have mislead you. I just notice that the title said computer engineering and I answered for computer science. I am not sure enough of the difference in the course of study in the engineering degree.

So you want Masters of CE, and you will likely get BS in Computer Science?
