What are the best books to get to practice critical reading?/ .... besides the blue book also is mcgraw hills a good book to get for sat prep .. thanks

Princeton Review is quite good. I prepped with that and was surprised at how easy the actual SAT turned out to be.

Just read more books. Thats what I did and I do really well on Critical Readings. When you do read, buy the book and write in the margins. That will help you notice the big picture as well as the small details.

Reading classic lit and high-quality newspapers (i.e. not USAToday! LOL) will help a lot. But yeah, PR is really good for strategy on CR. If you don't have time to read classic lit on top of schoolwork and SAT prep, then go with PR.

PR...
but mostly just read more
classics are great
