What are the best places for CS? Please don’t include like CalTech, MIT, Harvard, and those types… thanks 
What do you mean, don’t include places like CalTech, MIT, Harvard, “and those types”? Are you worried that the student body would be snotty or that the school would be too hard to get into? You want a larger school? It would help if you had other criteria to build a list upon.
Regardless, CMU, UC Berkeley, the University of Washington, Georgia Tech, Purdue, and Rutgers are schools that I would say are pretty different from the ones you listed that have very good computer science programs.
University of Michigan, University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, University of Texas-Austin, University of Maryland-College Park, UCLA, Cornell and Stanford.
All of those are good schools that are listed above. They will be hard to get into however. If you’re interested in Computer Science, just message me or look at my EC’s.
