Does anyone know? I'll likely be attending this year. I do want an area that has air conditioning, of course.

I also cannot decide between a Quad or a Double. When I visited quads looked amazing, with great space. But sadly I feel like I would never get any privacy. I also have a boyfriend who would visit (and often spend the night - not like we'd do anything inappropriate) often, and I feel like this may be more of an issue with bigger dorms.

Depends, are you a freshman or upperclassman?

freshman! and which is better, double or triple?

So for freshman, if you’re in the Honors College it’d be the Eastern Shore. If not, then the most common choice for freshmen is President’s Park, which is advantageous because it’s only freshmen so you can socialize with people in the same freshmen boat as you and feel a little more welcomed as a first year. It’s also close to the aquatic center. DUCC is basically the same as PP as far as quality, but apparently they’re a liiiiiiiiittle bit bigger. But only by a reallllly little bit. It’s also very close to the buffet station and one of the gyms. So really, there’s not too much of a difference, no freshman dorms there are first class.

As for double v. triple, triples are cheaper but will might provide you with less privacy and I’ve been told that for space, some double rooms have been made to fit three. In the end though, it’s entirely up to you and your preferences.
