What are the best undergrad nursing schools?

I am really interested in nursing but I am having trouble finding undergraduate rankings for nursing programs! All locations and costs aside, could anyone tell me which schools have the best undergrad nursing programs? I mean as far as clinicals, after-graduation employment, selectivity, and prestige. Thankyou for all your help (:

also I would prefer if nobody would give me the US News rankings!

Check out: Penn, Johns Hopkins, Emory, U Washington, Michigan Illinois at Chicago, North Carolina, Case Western Reserve, Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Minnesota.

There are many, many excellent nursing programs. No one can just point to a few because there are too many of them. This country needs tens of thousands of nurses, so a few schools can’t produce all of them. So, there are many, many good programs. Many flagships have great programs, many privates do, too.

In truth, what you can afford should largely determine where you should go. How much will your parents pay? What state are you in?

While nurses earn a nice salary, you don’t want to rack up a bunch of debt for your BSN. Too hard to pay back.
