What are the chances of getting into UBC if you are an American?

Or just in general, is it hard to get into UBC? My GPA is 3.5 and I don't know their acceptance policies for Americans. Is it harder for us? What are they looking for?

My extracurriculars are-
- church/community service- 6 years
- art program outside of school- 1 year
- took an epigenetics course- 2 months
- interned at a fashion company- 2 months (for the summer)
- ceramics club, ethnicity-appreciation club, table tennis club- sophmore year

If it helps, I go to a "specialized" high school, which means it's one of the top high schools in the state

I planned on applying in a science field, but I realize my grades in science/math aren't that great (high B's, low A's). But my grades in English are pretty strong, so should I use that as an advantage when applying? Are their acceptance policies different in different courses?

(I'm going to be a junior this year and I haven't taken the SAT/ACTs yet)
