Getting into any UC or CSU with these stats (list the ones you think I could get into):
3.71 GPA
1610 SAT
22 ACT Composite, 19 English, 17 Math, 26 Reading, 24 Science, 17 Writing
Some extracurricular activities such as ASB, Fundraising, Assisting teachers, etc…
Was on the honor roll at school
Had a job working at a church/community center
I know my scores are average, just tell me what you think I have at least some chance of getting into.
How about you tell us which ones you applied to and then you can be chanced? With 23 Cal States and 9 UC’s, a bit difficult to list them all. What is your SAT breakdown? Intended major?
I’ve applied to csudh, csub, csueb, csus, ucr, ucla, uc Davis, ucsc. My reading SAT score was 580, math 500, writing 530. I want to major in Biology.
CSUDH/CSUB/CSUEB/CSUS: Safety
UCR: Match
UCSC: High Match
UCD: Reach
UCLA: High Reach
You have a huge gap between your Safety schools and your Match school. You should have added some other higher ranking CSU’s into the mix and dropped some of the safeties, unfortunately water under the bridge.

Your SAT is a little low for UCLA, and ACT definitely too low. The lower-tiered UCs may be doable, but if you were to get even an 1800/27, your chances would be higher. What is your UC GPA?
