What are the chances of this indecisive student to get into...

What are my chances of getting into...
i'm currently a junior in highschool, and i have a list of around 20 universities which i'm planning to apply to, and i was just wondering what my chances are of getting into any of these colleges.
The univerisities include: Boston U, UPenn, University of Chicago, UCSan Diego, UCLA, University of Rochester, Emory, Brandeis, Johns Hopkins University, Brown, Duke, Rice, Washington U. St. Louis, Wake Forest U, Fordham U, U. of NC: Chapel Hill, NYU, and U Michigan - Ann Arbor.

My credentials are:
- I was born and raised in London, England, but my father is an american citizen, and so am i. I am an american citizen of Turkish/Kurdish Iraqi decent, and I currently live in Dubai, UAE.
- I go to a private school, with only 160 people in my grade. It's a very selective school, and it is the second best school in the country (according to several polls and reviews).
- I am in the top 5-10% of my class (no exact number)
- I'm aiming for a 2100-2200 SAT score
- I have a GPA of around 3.7-3.8, and i plan to get much higher in my junior and senior years.
- Im planning to get a major in Biomedical Sciences, or Biochemistry
- I plan on taking 3 SAT subject Tests: Math 2, Biology and Chemistry
- I am currently a 2 year IB Diploma Student, and my classes include HL Chem HL Bio, HL English, SL Math, SL French, and SL Psychology.
- Currently i have As in all my classes
- And in my entire high school education, ive never gotten less than a B average for any class and usually i have one or no Bs in a semester.
- I speak English, Arabic, and French fluently, and i am learning a very rare language called Kurdish (spoken really only in turkey and north iraq)

My Extra Curricular's Include:
- MUN for 3 years (Participated in international conferences in Dublin, and i will take part in the Beijing 2011, and Paris 2011 conferences).
- Writes articles for the Pawprint, our official school newspaper
- I am secretary of Conservation Club, a charity for animals, and i plan to be VP of it next year.
- I am in Habitat for Humanity, and soon i will travel to build homes in poorer regions.
- I do backstage for the school plays, and i plan to student direct in my senior year.
- I am a large supporter of charities, supporting Breast cancer (i participate in breast cancer walkathons), animals, and an end to poverty
- I am a bus monitor, or a person that ensures the safety of children on our school bus.
- I also take part in another charity: MSF
- I am taking a DELF test, a test that proves i am a full french speaker (its better than an SAT subject test in French since it includes an Oral, comprehension and composition).
- Also, because im iraqi, ive visited Iraq, and there i have dont a lot of volunteer work in the north, and I plan to do a lot more this summer.

I also plan to:
- Get some job (not sure what yet)
- Help out at a hospital for mental children
- Tutor students in math, english and possibly French

If anyone could tell me which universities are the best for me, I would be very grateful :D

Omg… I so wish that our school lets seniors do ECs, then I could go to Beijing 2011’s Model UN! Your ECs look good enough for most schools exluding UPenn, Brown and Duke, maybe UChicago. For them, they seem average (?). I’m really not an expert on EC “quality”, but as long as you’ve shown depth and devotion, you’ll have nothing to worry about.

As for the rest of what you’ve done, there are too many unknowns. Your GPA could be a 3.7, or a 3.8, which is a big difference in getting into UCLA, which is very strict about GPA, the ivies and your other top tier schools like JHU and UChicago. You haven’t provided us with any SAT scores, SATII scores, AP scores or IB scores. You’re still a junior without any scores, so making this chance thread is quite pointless. Let’s say I say you have a good chance at UPenn today, but your grades drop (I’m not saying they will, but let’s assume) during the year due to various reasons. Likewise, let’s say I say you can’t make it to UPenn, but then you win 1st prize in an international mathematics competition, get your GPA up to 3.95 by the end of your junior year, score 2390 on your SATs (or 36 ACT), write an outstanding college essay/personal statement, become president/founder/co-founder of a billion-dollar fund for… breast cancer. With stuff like this, UPenn would be insane not to have you. So, it’s still very early for you to trust CCers like me to say whether you can get into any of these universities or not.

Thanks so much for the info
I guess ur right about it being early :stuck_out_tongue:
ill post my grades up sometime in spring when im done with it all :)
