So I was wondering would it be possible for me to raise my GPA from a 2.2 to something above a 3 before the end of sophomore year?
Im about to finish freshman year and thats what it will look like. I want to transfer to a 4 year but I’m scared I won’t be able to get much above a 3 and they’ll turn me down, I was doing well in the beginning to soon my life turned into problem after problem not allowing me to focus on school. But is it possible to salvage my GPA?
Assuming this is unweighted GPA and you take equal numbers of credits each year, one year of 2.2 + one year of 4.0 divided by 2 years = 3.1.
But improving from C’s to straight A’s would require a lot of work.
Yes, it’s possible. The real question is, what are the chances you go from C work to A work
Also, can you retake some classes over the summer? Some school districts/states also have online classes.
I always do my best but my low grades were due to not having the time to invest in school but I appreciate everyone’s help
I understand things do happen in everyone’s life. But increasing your GPA to a 3.0 or higher is achievable, but a lot of hard work is necessary.
