What are the different focuses of business?

I just finished off my first quarter of college (it was a blast) and I am starting to think about what I want to do with my life. Originally, I came into school as a PoliSci major, but I don't know how far I am going to go with this, or if its the right choice for me. I have been contemplating (but not necessarily a sure thing) switching to a business/econ related major, but I would like to know more.

A detailed description is not necessary, more, a list of the different types of careers in business, I can research them myself, thanks!

vault.com is a good resource

Just a list of all the concentrations I can think of relating to business:
IT, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Accounting

Marketing, Sales, Advertising, R&D, Research, HR, Publicity, Management, Consulting, etc., etc.

But, in truth, most business majors generally become branch managers for a rental car or pay day service.

Better than working at Starbucks as most liberal arts majors end up doing.

PS. Average starting salary package from middle of the pack Big 10 undergrad B school is $60 K.
