what are the dimensions of the beds? and 2 random questions

how long are the beds? if you are 6ft tall can you request an extra-long bed?
also, is there any arcade around berkeley? UC davis has a huge arcade (i toured the campus)

lastly, is there an in-n-out around berkeley or a Tommies?

in-n-out ... yum. i know they exist in norcal but are definitely not as prevalent there than in socal. i too am wondering if there's one in berkeley

There's an In-n-Out in Oakland..you'd need a car. As far as I know, no in-n-out's in berkeley. But lots of great places to eat really close to campus! & yes there's an aracade but I don't know how big it is.

ah, yes i was wondering about the twin beds in the units (specifically 2, but i'm assuming they would all be the same).

I got a thing in the mail like a month ago saying that UC berkeley's extra long beds do not fit standard sheets and so we should buy our sheets from some random company. i kind of threw the whole packet away, but what's the status with this whole sheet & extra-long twin beds thing?

Extra long beds seem to be fairly standard in college dorms. You can buy extra long sheets at Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond and lots of other places (probably Sears & Penny's too).

Big enough for students to have sex in. >_>

I love Tommy's! Looking at the Tommy's website, however, it seems that there aren't any locations in the Northern California area.

in&out is about a 10-15 min drive in pinole, off 80. there are several good burger joints in berkeley though.

the beds come extra long standard, the arcade has been closed permanently, and the closest in-n-out is in pinole

You can use the BART, I believe.

Check out Bongo Burger on the West of campus and Barney's on northside- amazing.

so no arcade whatsoever :(

Nothing compares to the I-N-O. One reason I didn't want to go out of state is because there are no In-N-Outs outside California. (besides a few places in AZ and NV) <---That was a serious consideration.

Try Henry's. I love In and Out, but I think it's overrated- great, but not the best.
