What are the ethics of committing to an admission offer

Hello -

I have 4 offers, enrollment deadline for 2 is 5/1, other 2 is 6/1

I have 3 waitlist

If I commit to one offer that has enrollment deadline 5/1, can I change my decision if one of the waitlist comes through?

Can I commit later to one of the 2 schools that has enrollment deadline 6/1?

I understand I lose my enrollement deposit committed on 5/1

Coming off a wait list is an acceptable reason to commit to another school.

Double depositing because of different deadlines is not ethical. Ask the earlier deadline school for an extension.

You can commit consecutively (understanding as you do that you will lose your deposit when you withdraw from one to commit to the next one), but not to more than one at the same time.
