I also agree with barrons who earlier pointed out that the perceptions of collegs can change over the years. I am 50 , but I do not recall ND being called a ‘virtual ivy’, which I have heard it called now (look at its mid 50 act profile and its acceptance rate as exhibits to this claim). It seemed to me in the older days to be just a big football / fun party school. Some on this forum, especially people who claimed to have lived their lives nearer ND, have said the same about ND.
