I want to transfer into SDSU as a Hospitality Management major and I dont understand what all the GE's are and are they the same as the Golen Four? whatever that is?

You should go on CSUmentor.com The GE requirements are the 60 semester (90 quarter units) you have to complete as a transfer student. The golden four are your math, speech, critical thinking, and english writing classes. You should see your counselor if you are unsure what any of these are.

To add to what KAV88 posted, you want to shoot for As for the Golden Four. When you apply as a transfer, it specifically asks for grades from these courses. All other GE courses you completed you just check off on the application. They are all later verified on transcripts.

GE's are basically courses you take while completing an IGETC or CSU GE path. The Golden Four are a part of GE courses. Lower division prerequisites for you major are often different from everything else.

To check lower division courses for you major, go to assist.org. The website is pretty straight forward, but talking to a counselor is best.

how hard is it for transfer students to get in? esp for impacted majors such as hospitality management
