There is no way to make a generalized comments for >20,000 students.
You will meet all kinds. Some are very nerdy and asocial, some are very outgoing but serious learners, some make you question how they got in. There are about 11,000 undergrad guys here, so there’s no way to generalize at all. Not even a “weak” generalization.
There are over 6000 students for each class and well over 25000 undergraduates. Around half of them are guys (if that is what OP means).
well I just read a post that said the girls were ugly. There seemed to be a general consensus about that

From the latest Almanac, there are 28312 undergraduates in 2015. It should go up a little bit this year as they have a larger freshmen class this year.
billcsho, the 28,312 figure includes part time students. There are currently 27,258 full time undergraduate students and 1,054 part time undergraduate students (so a total of 28,312) according to the latest CDS.
^ That may well be. You know the part time and full time students sometimes switch even between semester. Anyway, that is the number of total undergraduates reported on the Almanac published last month.
Most everyone at Michigan is good looking and quite intelligent, unlike those from the ‘green’ university to the northwest and the ‘red’ university to the south east We walked past a sorority mixer yesterday and I will attest that the ‘general’ consensus about ugly women at Michigan is 100% wrong. Students tend to be fairly athletic (practically no fat students) , almost no one smokes, and there are more Asian students than other universities in the Midwest. Beyond that the group is just too large to paint in broad strokes.
Plenty of salmon shorts and pop-collared d-bags.
Plenty of neckbearded splergs on north campus.
Plenty of vaped out tree climbers

The guys my daughter has dated and been friends with…are disarmingly bright. That’s the quality that sticks out. Bright, hard working, ambitious guys. Cute? Very. Kind, decent young men. She seems to have a preference for geeky science boys and artists. Plenty of amazing guys to pick from if you find smart sexy.
in addition to many top academic departments, Michigan can be a top destination for a MRS degree (comes with the territory)
On average, they tend to be average.
