What are the max units for a differnt kind of transfer..

Hey all,
since my UCD admission got rescinded =(
I got another year to take some more classes.
So my freshman year I spent a quarter at UCSC so I know that I have certain restrictions on me.
I have about 77 units. and with another year I might take maybe 15-25 more units.
Now my question is what are the unit restrictions for my kind of transfer?
UC Santa Cruz --> Community college --> UC transfer.

Regular transfer get up to 70 actual unit credits, but can take more for subject credit in order to fill in pre-reqs.

Another question: Since i will be retaking a class, the same previous class that I failed will not count towards the unit max? as well as non-transferable units?

Thank you

BUMP for the night

Go to page 14, you can see which schools you are eligible for.

ok , thanks for the pdf… it answered alot of questions.
one last one: If i get an F in a 5 unit class, and retake it to get an A. Will it count as 10 units total or just 5?

@Hometownca

If you retake it and pass, it will only count as 5. Make sure whatever you do, do not go over the unit limit.

@ Above.
thanks for the answer.
I hope that is the absolute truth because I will be having to take the max amount of units.

Ya don’t worry, repeating failed classes only doesn’t give you double units, as UCs don’t award any units for a failed class in the first place.

Either next year or the year after, all UCs are getting rid of their unit cap. As it stands, the vast majority will accept you with a large amount of units, as long as over 80 (I think) don’t come from a 4 year.
