What are the most worth-attending universities for both money and education quality?

Although Duke, UChicago, and Johns Hopkins do have generous merit scholarships, there are VERY FEW available and almost impossible to get.

<p>Chicago offers about 100 $10K merit scholarships, in addition to a “handful” of full tuition merit scholarships. It would be interesting to know how they are distributed among students eligible vs. ineligible for need-based aid.
