What are the odds i get in

i’m fairly confident i can get in but idk

37/420 rank
uwgpa -3.6 or 3.7 or something like that maybe higher
wgpa - 4.5
SAT - 780 M, 670 CR, 670 W - 1450/2120- might take again cause i expected to do slightly better cr wise also writing wise
ACT- 34 w/o essay just took with essay, expect 32 or 33+
ap - calc bc 5, took some and passed a couple others but wouldn’t get credit at boston college
SAT 2’s - math 1, math 2 taking in november expect 700+ if that counts for anything

ec’s /leadership/interests
national merit semifinalist, idk about finalist yet
beta club
some other volunteer club

did science research for 2 years and did a real research paper and won some awards for it also won generic science fair award for one of them
-did hurricane katrina volunteer work in summer for 2 years, not too much since i dont live there but decent amount
-play lots of intramural/community sports mostly basket ball and football which take up a lot of time, but they are not varsity or for the school so idk if that counts but for me that is a large time consuming activity

-also working in my favor maybe? - catholic

do i have a good shot? i’m either applying to carrol or arts & sciences rd undecided major

very very good

You have a very good shot at being Accepted. Carrol's a little tougher to get into right now, but don't apply to A&S and think you'll just transfer, I guess it's not that easy now. But you have an excellent shot at either. Good Luck!

just as far as sat scores and gpa go, where does a score of 660CR, 710M, 800W (2170 combined) and a 3.9 GPA unweighted put me in the early action pool? thanks.

I think you have a decent shot. SAT is pretty avg for accepted students, as is GPA, but you seem to be a well-rounded candidate. Good luck! Also, everyone applying is catholic, so not sure that's a real "advantage" lol.

wpolo: probably avg for EA, slightly above avg. for regular? a very good score nontheless. good luck!

vc08: do you mean avg. for accepted students or for applicants?

the SAT is actually at the top 25% of accepted students, not "average"

thanks a lot for clearing that up, padfoot
