Anywhere except the South and far West.

I have heard Indiana University - Bloomington is really nice.

not sure if this is too far south for you, but I have always liked UVa's campus.....very historic feel to it.......plus they have a great soccer program

I like University of Vermont... lots of green.

I would think University of Vermont has lots of white too :)

UVa sure looks beautiful! Haven't visited, but it was the only public I applied to. The pictures look lovely

UNC-CH has a really nice campus.
Surprisingly I've heard TCNJ is very nice as well...

University of Mississippi...not exactly my cup of tea but definitely a pretty place

here's another one of my favorites.......west, but not far west....Colorado School of Mines.......small state school w/ great rep in technical areas. In Golden, Colorado in the foothills west of Denver. Nice small campus with a decidedly western feel, plus the "short tour" (tasting area) of the Coors brewery is only a walk away. I wouldn't call the campus itself as exceptionally beautiful, but the surroundings & ambiance are.

soccer22fan-- you might want to pick thru this thread on "Nicest campus you have seen":

this thread is open to all geography and public/private, so you'll have to cull out your interest areas.

UVa was definitely my favorite campus that I have visited by far.

I'll second Indiana.

Uva!!!

....

Miami of Ohio should be on the list

M of O's not public though, right?

btw, upon review of the thread link I posted earlier, UVa seems to dominate the positive mentions for a public institution

UVA and UCLA

Miami of Ohio is most definetely public I can assure you :)

you learn something new everyday (especially on CC).....just checked their web site and its described as a "state assisted" university.

LOL, with exception of a few like UVA, the best public campuses are far west, University of Washington, UCLA, UCSD, University of Arizona. Most nrotheast campuses are ragged or unconvincing.
