What are the requirements a CC student must meet in order to apply to USC for Soph.Yr

How many units does a Community College student need in order to apply to USC for sophomore year?

If high school records weren't "good" and SAT score was low or was never taken, what is best recommended?

What GPA is expected for these students interested in transferring next year?

Transfer Application Deadline for Scholarship and Regular Consideration is February 1, 2014. If by this time the CC student has not yet taken college level math, English 102, or 103 yet will the student still be able to apply? I ask this because I have to wait till spring semester in order to take English 103, Intermediate Algebra, and additional transferable GE courses recommended for USC and my major.

What happens if Winter semester ends after the application deadline? Will USC still ask for Winter grades and Spring grades? If so how do you send them the grades or report? I also keep reading about USC asking the applicant a Spring Grade Report which is really helpful since they see that you're taking courses needed for transfer and obviously seeing good grades.

When should students start writing their personal essays for USC? Should they start now?

Where do the students go to in order to see the essay topics and all of that?

Can the students who wish to transfer to USC sophomore year be able to apply for USC scholarships? How does the scholarship process work for potential sophomore transfers?

Lastly, if the student were to get rejected for sophomore year but reapply for junior year and have all 64 units; will their chances of admission be even smaller because of being rejected the first time around?
When answering a question(s) please number it in order for me and other CC students interested in applying for next year know exactly which question you're referring too. Thank you

Stop being lazy and look this up on their website. Fight On!

Just try your best, get a 3.75, join many clubs and get leadership positions in those clubs. Thats what I did

From your questions, it appears that you haven’t even taken the time to google ‘USC transfer’.

Most of this information should be available on their website.

That said, not having taken english composition, and still being in remedial math classes is not going to work to your advantage. Universities like to see students that have completed at least the majority of their lower level work/geneds when sifting through the transfer applicants.

Yes, they will still request that you send an updated transcript for terms that have ended after the application process.

If you get rejected once, then reapply, it shouldn’t make any difference. Every application is going to get viewed on its own merits.
