What are the top 5 SUNYs?

I’m applying to 4. If I had to rank them personally in order of preference, I would say

Binghamton

Stonybrook

Albany

Geneseo

But I think that in order of prestige, it would be

Geneseo

Binghamton

Stonybrook

Albany

I think of it as:

Binghamton

Geneseo

Stony Brook

Albany

My brother is at Geneseo right now, and he loves it there. If you have any questions about Geneseo, please feel free to ask me. :)

Buffalo

Stony Brook

Binghamton

Geneseo

Albany

Umm i'd probably say...

Geneseo

Binghamton (pretty much tied w/ Gen.)

Stony Brook

Buffalo

Albany

it really depends on what you want to study. different sunys have different strengths.

i believe stony brook for the sciences

The SUNYs that have been listed are quite different

Geneseo - the smallest (enrollment 7,000?) and probably the most selective, but a bit remote.

Bing - your classic state uni, D1 sports (?), near Ithaca College and Cornell U

Albany and Buff - again your classic state unis, but in cities offering train and air transport.

Stony Brook - on Long Is, large commuter population.

I'd rank them:
Geneseo (b/c I think smaller is better)
Sing
Albany
Buffalo
Stony Brook (b/c of commuters)

i wanna get into pre-med
i know stonybrook would be #1 for that, but it's lonely and in the middle of nowhere, whereas binghamton is one of the most fun colleges in the state. Factor out everything when you determine the top SUNYS.
