I think the University of Calgary does pretty well. University of Waterloo has an AMAZING engineering program. There is also University of Toronto, and McGill

In Canada, people don’t see any universities as “top”, but focus on which programs within which schools are good. For instance:

For Business: Western - Ivey, Queen’s - Commerce, McGill - Commerce
For Engineering/Computer Science: Toronto, Waterloo
For Pre-Med/Sciences: McMaster - Health Sciences, McGill - Sciences
For Arts/Social Sciences: McGill, Queen’s, Toronto
For Law: Toronto, York, McGill

Generally speaking, the best universities in Canada would be UToronto, McGill, Queens and probably UBC. UToronto ranks 11th in the world for arts and humanities… So it’s a pretty good school

I don’t know why you chose to omit UofT for Sciences…they have arguably the best science faculty in Canada and is quite competitive when compared to HYPS/JHU.
