What are the Top Schools for Creative Writing Programs?

I am modifying my college list based on schools with a good journalism program and schools with a good creative writing program. Can anyone list some schools that have good creative writing programs? Thanks.

How about:

Kenyon
Bard
U Iowa
Middlebury
Florida State
Sarah Lawrence
Carnegie Mellon
Johns Hopkins
Oberlin
Grinnell
UPenn

Many of the LACs have great creative writing programs. Also, you could check out some of the top graduate writing programs to see if it might perhaps correlate with good undergraduate programs as well. Hope this helps a bit.

Iowa is without a doubt the best for creative writing, good list above.

Keep in mind that all of those schools have great creative writing programs for MASTERS, not necessarily undergrad.

"Keep in mind that all of those schools have great creative writing programs for MASTERS, not necessarily undergrad." ???

most schools on the list don't even have master programs? kenyon, bard, middlebury, slc, grinnell, oberlin???

Not true, Sarah Lawrence and Middlebury both offer graduate programs in writing (More notably, Midd with the famed Breadloaf School of English)

Many LACs offer incredible creative writing programs, although I'd say Middlebury, Kenyon, SLC, Bennington, and Oberlin are some of the stronger schools.

As for universities, JHU, Brown, and UIowa have great creative writing programs.
