What are your plans? College most likely for everyone, but any plans on what majors your thinking of and why? Going to take a year off and travel the world? Also if your going to college which one and why? What do you picture yourself doing after college? What job do you wish to have?

No.

Going to college to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in geriatrics. I work at a retirement home and absolutely LOVE the residents there. I am just really interested in medical stuff and can totally handle blood lol. I’m also majoring in psychology and minoring in spanish. I want to study abroad at some point, probably in Spain. I actually am going to College of DuPage(COD) and then transferring to Elmhurst College. I get COD free and I want the least amount of debt possible.

I could never handle blood! I would pass out! But sounds like you got it all planned. Studying abroad would be amazing but wouldn’t you miss home?

Haha I am totally fine with blood. I would miss home thats why I chose close colleges because my family is really close:) Elmhurst has a J term which is a one month break in January so I would probably only study abroad for that month. I wouldn’t have time to do a longer 5 or 6 month one because of nursing classes.

Right after high school, I plan on going on a cruise down through Latin America with my friends, go to Europe with my family, and maybe go to NYC or LA or Florida with my friends right before college starts.
But yeah, off to college after vacations!

Right after high school I’m renting a beach house with my closest high school friends for a few weeks (shouldn’t be too expensive if we get a good deal of people and split the cost). Then I will be going off to college. I want to major in something that will help me affect people in a significant way. Not too sure what that is as of right now :P

lol’d at chaseholl

I want to be a surgeon and I really really want to go to Stanford.

In college I want to double major in spanish and biology. Then medical school. I hear it’s very common to take a year off after medical school before starting surgical residency, and if money allows I would love to spend that year somewhere in Argentina, Chile or Brazil (I’m learning Brazilian portuguese on my own) practicing medicine. After that I guess I’ll just spend a good 7 or so years slaving to become a surgeon! I know it’ll be worth it, I’ve been on this track since the 5th grade.

^ I wanted to be a surgeon but I don’t think I’m quite dextrous enough. :P
