What are you doing if you are deferred?

I was just wondering if anyone is sending in extra stuff... like essays or tests scores or writing letters, etc. I am willing to do anything but I don't know what I could do!

Hey, I was also deferred… did you ever end up following up with them or sent any extra stuff?

no, i never did anything :frowning: what about you?

i kind of regret it now… but what could we have done?

A thought—you applied to NU because you wanted to go to NU—if you get deferred, you don’t want any regrets. You do not know why you were deferred-and you may be on the edge of getting accepted. Why not consider ways to push yourself over the top.~APOL-a mom (BTW-My DD was waitlisted and went through much of what you are now experiencing by being deferred–she now attends NU)

aturof,

I just sent a letter thanking them for considering my application, i reinforced that NU is still my first choice, and told them of my accomplishments since I applied. But honestly I dont know if that letter will have any effect on my admission decison, because I sent it in like beginning/mid march and they wanted that stuff in february, they could’ve already decided our fate by the time i sent the letter =[. I don’t know though I don’t think you should regret anything, because ultimately both of us are going to end up going where we were meant to go, everything happens for a reason you know? And on an even brighter note we were at least deferred, so there must have been something they liked about us. =]
oh and thanks for the thoughts APOL
