It's my 2nd winter break from college (sophomore). What are you guys doing? I am stumped. I tried looking for an internship or something but didnt know where to look or what to do. And I really didnt feel like going through mass online applications to get a short retail job again.
This may be my 2nd winter break alone at home bored. My mom will be disappointed and its nice but sometimes its a little too much free time. I feel I want to be at least semi productive or at least do something that I enjoy. The gym doesnt make me content and my town has nothing fun to do.

I’m a freshman. I’ll be working, reviewing info to prepare for my next semester, possibly reading/skimming ahead for next semester, learning html/css/web development (because I want to), learning how to play piano (if i have time). Next year, I’m hoping to study abroad for a month during my winter break, so we’ll see how that goes…

Sleep, hang out with old friends, sit around the house and take it easy for a few days… Have a short 2 1/2 weeks before Spring classes, thus I don’t intend on doing any real school work.

I’m spending time with famly I never see, then starting an internship. :)

Sleeping, seeing friends, just relaxing.

Freshmen year. Relaxing. Taking a breather. Hanging with friends. Finishing the Backlog of games I have. and League of Legends.

Freshman. I’m going back home to see my family and probably party up with some friends. I’ve only partied once this entire first semester because I dedicated myself to get a good gpa. Now that I actually got a good gpa, I’m just going to go home and just re-energize, get loose. Spring semester begins on the 9th of January, so I gotta make this break really count before I have a mental/physical breakdown from studying too much.

Oh woops didn’t realize we were putting our years on here. Sophomore, by credits I’ll be a junior next semester though.

Freshman. So far I’ve just kind of hung around home and laid low. Apparently most colleges didn’t get out until this week. I have several friends who aren’t getting back until today. I’m catching up on TV shows that I’ve neglected over the semester, re-learning Algebra (because I’m thinking about taking Calculus and would rather not bomb the placement test again), cleaning up my room (which apparently isn’t mine anymore. My sister has taken it over.)

I’m probably going to hang out with a couple of my high school friends. I have plans to see movies with them and stuff. Probably hang out with a couple of my college friends. (A lot of my friends from college actually live in my city… I didn’t know them before college, but it’s rather convenient on breaks.)

Sophomore. Working out like crazy (trying to lose 5 pounds because I have a month and nothing to do), lots of needlework, baking, and looking for a summer internship.

Sucks because I don’t know where I’ll be next year or if I’ll be able to spend Christmas with my family. Enjoying all the time I have with them:)

2nd year.

Doing nothing or nobody.

Next quarter is a do-or-die quarter. Really.

I ordered a couple of my textbooks to read/skim through in advance for class.

I might end up going back a week early. . .

I’ll be in Latin America for all but 6 days of my break. I’m really excited, it’s going to be a nice change from the usual sleep-till-noon-cause-its-break.

I’m a freshman, and I’m gonna sleep a lot, spend quality time with friends and family and read for fun.

First-year student with sophomore standing. Taking Interim, Field-based Social Problems Course.

I’m a junior transfer student. I’m hopefully going to a Catholic retreat in early January, but other than that, I’m finally going to have a life for once (and sleep in!!) Nevertheless, I had a fantastic semester. I’m rather pleased with myself.

@Sparkles: I am jealous.

I’ve spent a good chunk so far helping some relatives move. Other than that I’m primarily trying to finish a couple personal projects and make money.

My first semester just ended. I’ll be Christmas shopping, hanging with friends, going to the gym, writing some songs, trying to normalize my sleep schedule, and reading a book I didn’t have time to read this past semester.

Cranking out as many special effects test shots as i can!!!

–Sophomore
