I'm really excited for next summer and next year.

DagnyT- Yeah, the boarding price is what's really too expensive. This is pretty much my last year to go though, so who knows. Maybe they'll send me.

Hopefully German 1-3 and 2-3 online GE courses at the community college. My parents want to visit the east coast during the time period of the German 3 class, though. I don't want to go, but I figure it shouldn't be that hard to convince them not to force me to go, sighs. Oh, and I might to go DC for a three day youth summit if I get in...I haven't even applied yet though. xD

I'll also be getting organized for college apps and finalizing the list (6 apps, 9 schools at this point. Also get started on some of the essays. I'll be studying abroad for a year so I'm not sure which essays might get influenced by that, but I think I can at least get on the "Why ______?" essays.

It will be the Summer after my Senior year...

-Working full-time hopefully (saving some money for college)
-Volunteering at hospital
-Vacation (not sure where to, but we're definitely taking one)

Summer before college... I'm going to travel, work as a teacher assistant at KSU, work to earn some monies for next year, hang out with friends, the usual.

summer before college
finally know what I'll be doing this summer...work full-time, for a month and a half. Then Washington D.C. for a month-long internship with my state senator, wahoo! Then 2 weeks of chillin' with friends and packing for college, and off to MSU

-Washington University Summer Scholar Program-Solar System and Art History
-volunteering as usual
-studying SAT math/writing
-studying ACT
-visiting colleges
-going to the beach
-reading a ton
-writing essays for apps
-working at library

I'm not quite sure yet, but hopefully I will have the opportunity to spend most of my summer volunteering at a local hospital. :) I will definitely try to read a lot this summer and write more. Of course, I hope to hang out with most of my friends and just soaking up the sun. :)
