What are YOU going to do during the summer?

Washington DC Internship.
2 Weeks at BU, then traveling around the area with my friend.

Football practices
Training for Wrestling
Going to two maybe 3 national wrestling tournaments
start work on SAT stuff
and hopefully then relax

go to a summer program on bioethics and vanderbilt :D

then go on vacation to the seattle are see a meriners game or two and relax for the rest of the summer

California
Germany
maybee a job if I have time!! NOt really forsure

I have a spot as a Senate page for most of June!

After that, I'm going to be just around visiting colleges/on vacation. All of that on top of my normal job.

It's going to be a good summer!

Menagerie, what's your internship going to be? If you're not from dc, I bet you'll love it!

Since it's the summer before college begins, I hope that it'll be relaxing!

I might be getting a job scooping ice cream...which would probably require me to start working out as I lack arm strength. XD

I'm taking a poli sci course and an econ course at JHU Pre-College (for college credit :D)to see if I want to do IR as a major. I already know I like history and langauge, which is why I was considering a major in linguistics with a possible history major, but I don't think it's that practical.

After 5 weeks, I return home to study for the SATs and to load up on vocab. It'd be my 3rd and last go at it, and I want to drill at least 500 words into my head and to go over grammar, essay-writing time, and reading speed. Maybe then I can brank my CR/Writing scores to 720+.

I'm also going to voulnteer at the hospital again to top off my hours at 300 (+ the ~100 hrs. I'm going to acrue from honor society tutoring at school).

I'll be improving my scores, getting more community service, and a better scope for where I want to go/do basically. If I'm priming up my college resume, I might as well start on my common app, right?

June (which is like 1.5 weeks) I'm volunteering at the historical society, finishing spring art classes, and starting work, and FORCING myself to run everyotherday (the whole summer).

Most of July I'll be taking art classes at FIT Summer Live in the city, and continuing to volunteer at the historical society and work on Fridays.

Most of August I'll be taking some more local art classes, continuing volunteering and work, and trying to see if it would be possible to sell some of my clothes online.

Last week of August I'll either be in pre-season soccer tryouts/training (can't really do much else--double sessions, 9-12, 3-6) or, if I decide not to do it this year, just enjoying my last week of freedom and shopping! [I currently am liking the second option better, lol]

hopefully a paid bio research internship! crosses fingers, listens for phone

If not, then I'll be in an outdoor Shakespeare play that will tour around my city.

It's impressive, all this prestigious stuff you all are doing. I hope we can relax, too, because that's what summer is really for.
