What are you going to do to study for the AP Biology test this weekend?

Post your cram plans.

Keep taking practice exams and then checking over all the answers, reading sections from Barrons and then doing the practice problems after each section. That seems to be my game plan thus far.

Practice tests, then living off my spark chart. Good Luck everyone

Go over kaplan book, then look at diagrams in my book for the harder processes, go over outlines for the systems, go over glossary in bio book, and then hopefully take some MC/FRQ quetsins...
img onna fail this test yo...

I'm making my own study guide, by typing out anything I just don't know. It helps me usually.

im just casually reading over my cliffnotes.. i should be studying a lot harder, but im not too worried about it... i got a 4 on my practice on i took in school, so i figure i shouldnt do too bad on the real one.

reading 5 steps to a 5 and taking notes
maybe do a free response

i'm dead nervous for the free responses X_X

I'm betting one of the free response questions is going to be on protein synthesis because there hasn't been one on it in a while (college board goes back to 2001 and there has been nothing on protein synthesis those years.)

Read the whole Cliffs on Sunday lol.

would reading all of PR help me get a 5 for tomorrow?

No. If you do not have the knowledge to get a five now, you will not get it in the 18 hours before the test. Brush up on topics you don't remember, but don't even try to force down all that info. By reading the entire book straight, you will retain less than if you took the three toughest chapters for you and took some solid notes. Notes help move info into your brain faster than just reading.

im screwed then.
but its not like i dont remember anything. i know most stuff about bio, just brushing up on them and the harder processes like photsynthesis and cell respiration.

i hope its on protein synthesis...:D

I hope its on protein synthesis! it's my fav!

I'm going through the Cliffs AP Bio book and making a study guide with the stuff I don't know or am likely to forget. If I have time, I want to take a practice test. I really should have started studying earlier, but that's not really my style XD Not to mention my teacher hasn't prepared us for the exam AT ALL, so we're pretty much on our own. Just about everyone has given up, but I'm brushing up on the basics so that I can at least get a 3. ;__;

Protein synthesis bah!
Gel electrophoresis/restriction enzymes!!! Please!

PS: How much is detail is protein synthesis to be known in - about detail level in Cliffs or more

A few sources, including my AP Chem teacher from last year (who's an expert in standardized tests), have told me that the Cliffs AP Bio book is the only one you'll need for the exam. If you know all the bold terms and have looked through the book thoroughly, you'll probably get a 5!

If only I had started reviewing earlier..
